He also leads investment decisions and investor relations, leveraging his extensive expertise in real estate development and investment. With a strategic and analytical approach, Manuel applies his deep knowledge of due diligence and underwriting to the firm’s real estate development and acquisition strategies, ensuring sound investments that drive value.

With a strong background in real estate development, Manuel has successfully managed projects from concept to completion, demonstrating a keen ability to navigate complex transactions and create value through innovative design and efficient execution. His investment experience spans various aspects of real estate, from acquisitions and financing to property management, across diverse markets ranging from the Northeast U.S. to the Dominican Republic.

As a seasoned entrepreneur, Manuel has consistently achieved double-digit growth in his business investments, showcasing his ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities in dynamic and evolving markets.

Manuel holds a Bachelor’s degree from Barry University and a Master of Science degree from Pace University. He is also a licensed financial professional, maintaining an active Series 65 certification.

Partner

Nelson Tejada provides direction and legal guidance on all aspects of Agallas Equities’ development and corporate operations. He works closely with the development and investment teams on structuring and financing transactions and oversees Agallas Equities’ corporate governance.

Nelson earned his bachelor’s degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and his Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law, providing him with a strong foundation in law, business, and investments.

With extensive experience in real estate development and legal expertise in investment strategies, Nelson has played a pivotal role in structuring and negotiating complex deals, having successfully settled transactions totaling hundreds of millions of dollars throughout his career. Recognized as a “fierce” negotiator by colleagues and opposing counsel, he is renowned for his strategic acumen, tenacity, and unwavering commitment to achieving favorable outcomes.

Nelson’s combined proficiency in real estate and legal investment frameworks enables him to deliver innovative solutions that drive long-term value. His leadership and dedication continue to propel the firm’s success.

Utsav Dokania
Investment Analyst

Utsav is a finance and strategy professional with a strong track record in investment banking, having led multi-million dollar transactions across multiple sectors. He has guided strategic initiatives that encompass innovative financing solutions, in-depth market analysis, and growth opportunity assessments.

At Agallas, Utsav focuses on optimizing our fund’s financial performance, leveraging his analytical rigor to structure deals that maximize returns and drive long-term value for our limited partners. Drawing on his Civil Engineering degree from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani—one of India’s premier technical institutions—he brings a unique engineering perspective to evaluating commercial real estate projects.
